Gabby's colorization project

Day 1:


I used this black and white picture as my project picture, from World War 2:

But I used this as a reference photo for the gas masks in the picture:

First I selected the filter on the gas mask and made a different layer of the selected then colored it a dark red then did the same with the actual mask.
