Kennedy's Colorization Project

For a Photoshop assignment, we have a turn a black and white picture into a picture with color. For my project, I'm turning this picture of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, into a colorful picture.

On the first day, I used the quick selection tool to carve the outside of his body. Then, I made a new layer and colored it yellow to make the background of the picture yellow.

On the second day, I used the quick selection tool to carve out his beard and hair. Then, I made a new layer and colored it brown to make his hair and beard brown.

On the third day, I used the quick selection tool to go around his suit. Then, I made a new layer and colored it navy blue so his suit can be navy blue.

On the fourth day, I used the quick selection tool to carve out his face and ears. Then, I made a new layer and colored it a tan-ish color so his skin can be tan.

On the fifth day, I used the quick selection tool to carve out his tie. Then, I made a new layer and colored it black so his tie can be black.

On the sixth day, I used the quick selection tool to go around his eyes. Then, I made a new layer and colored them grey to make his eyes grey.

On the last day, I used the quick selection tool to go around his lips. Then, I made a new layer and colored them pink to make his lips pink.
