I'm using this as a reference pic because I was not alive when he was so I don't know how he looked..
I added color to his hair. I didn't make it the exact shade of brown in the reference picture because I feel like the lighting and the time the picture was taken are both different from the reference.
Using the select tool, I made a new layer of just his hair, then using the paint tool, I painted his hair brown.
I have done the same with the other steps.
Then, I added color to his skin. I used the select tool to select his skin, then (after many... MANY failed attempts) painted it an orange-ish color. It came out a peach color close to his actual skin color.
(Note: I am going to clean up in the end.)
Day 2: I added color to his eyes, eyebrows, and lips. Doing the eyebrows was difficult because they are hard to see and it is kind of light and faded. I honestly don't know how that came out as gr8 as it did, but it all worked out. I did it the same way I did his skin and hair.
I kept his suit the same because I figured his suit was black in the actual picture and whatnot. I picked a tan color because I'm fun and full of life.
beginning to finish. (final product) I cleaned the edges.

alternate background because my teacher made a note about how fun I was with choosing the other background...
